Windows 7 Shortcuts and Gestures
Win+UP Arrow :- Maximize the current window
Win+Down Arrow : If the current window is maximized, restore it; if the current window is restored, minimize it
Win+Left Arrow :- Dock the current window to the left half of the screen
Win+Right Arrrow :- Dock the current window to the right half of the screen
Win+Shift+Left: Jump to left monitor
Win+Shift+Right: Jump to right monitor
Win+Home : Minimize all but the current window
Win+P : Open the projection menu (generally used for laptops connected to projectors)
Alt+F4 : Close the active window
Alt+Tab :- Switch to previous active window
Alt+Esc :- Cycle through all open windows
Win+Tab :- Flip through all open windows (3D version of the old "ALT+TAB"
Ctrl+Win+Tab :- 3DFlip through all open windows without having to hold down key combo
Win+D :- Toggle showing the desktop (minimize all running applications)
Win+Space: Peek at the desktop (Peek only lasts as long as you are pressing the key combo)
Win+T: Focus on the first Pinned taskbar entry (Pressing again will cycle through them, you can can arrow around)
Win+Shift+T: cycles backwards.
Win + Pause/Break: Open System Properties
Win + [+/-] Enables the magnifier and zooms in/out
Ctrl + Shift + Esc: Open Task Manager directly
Ctrl + Shift + N: Create new folder
Ctrl + Tab Move forward through tabs
Ctrl + Shift + Tab Move back through tabs
Ctrl + Right Arrow: Move the cursor to the beginning of the next word
Ctrl + Left Arrow: Move the cursor to the beginning of the previous word
Ctrl + Up Arrow: Move the cursor to the beginning of the previous paragraph
Ctrl + Down Arrow: Move the cursor to the beginning of the next paragraph
Taskbar modifiers
Shift + Click: on icon Open a new instance
Ctrl + Shift + Click: on icon Open a new instance with Admin privileges
Shift + Right-click: on icon Show window menu (Restore / Minimize / Move / etc)
Shift + Right-click: on grouped icon Menu with Restore All / Minimize All / Close All, etc.
Ctrl + Click: on grouped icon Cycle between the windows (or tabs) in the group
Win+B: Move focus to notification tray (the right-most portion of the taskbar)
Win+1: Opens the first program on your Quick Launch bar Win+2 Opens the second program on your Quick Launch bar... ETC
Win + S: OneNote Screen Clipping Tool
